Christian Ederer
Regional Director for Germany, Austria & Switzerland
As Regional Director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland at VisionWorks, Christian Ederer is in charge of the regional office in central Europe. Christian joined the VisionWorks team in 2004 and is responsible for all sales and marketing tasks in these three German-speaking countries.
Christian comes to VisionWorks with over 10 years of extensive experience in the Information Technology field. After holding several high ranking positions in several large German IT companies, Christian left and founded Platinum Networks, a network design and integration firm for small and medium businesses in 2003. After searching the world wide web for a cost effective backup solution, Christian made first contact with VisionWorks in 2004, and immediately both companies realized the potential and forged a new partnership agreement to better server the European market. Today Christian and his team, spend a lot of time increasing VisionWorks European market share through direct sales and reseller networks.
Christian completed his studies at the University of Regensburg and obtained his diploma in Computer Science and Marketing Management. In 2001 he completed his Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) and his Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE).
